Since last year, Titian Foundation has been conducting a teacher training programme entitled ‘Excellence in Teaching and Learning’ (ETL). Now, this programme has been elaborated into a more comprehensive modul to enhance the teacher’s quality. Working together with the Ministry of Education, Titian has developed an accredited training module. Using this module we will train teachers from all over Indonesia.
Starting from this year, Titian Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with ROTA of Qatar Foundation to run the programme. It is scheduled to run for five consecutive years (2008 – 2013). For the first and second year, the participants will be those from Klaten, Yogyakarta and the neighbouring areas. 500 teachers are scheduled to join the training in 2008 and another 1,000 teachers throughout 2009.
